Harbor Home.

As the season is changing, the Mission Team is encouraging our bridge family to clean with a pur

pose. During October, please consider donating gently used clothing and household items to Hope Harbor Home.

This Sustainable Mission Partner of the bridge uses the proceeds from their thrift stores to maintain a safe house for battered women and their children. They also provide trained victim advocates to help navigate the legal system, and an Empowerment Support Group.

Their Hope Chest Thrift Store is located at 112 Village Rd.NE, in Leland, to the right of Piggly Wily. Donations are accepted to the left and behind the grocery store from 10-4, Monday through Saturday. 910-371-0058.

Because of COVID, soft items (linens, curtains, clothing, cloth decorations) must be in 13 gallon trash bags which are tied. Hard items must be in boxes that can be left with the donations. Furniture and large items must be in your garage or driveway. Call 910-371-0058 to schedule a pick up. For the safety of you as well as their staff, masks are required.
