Mission Statement

Our church is organized around a simple mission statement and 8 core habits. To become part of God’s mission at the bridge is to buy into our mission statement and live out our core habits.

The mission of the bridge Presbyterian Church is to help people connect with God’s people, passion and purpose for their life.

Connecting with God’s people in your life – Are you looking to form new friendships? You’re not the only one. Nobody is from Brunswick Co. We are all new to the community and therefore, we are all looking to connect with other people. Part of our mission at the bridge is to help people connect with each other.

Connecting with God’s purpose for your life – Are you eager to discover your purpose in life? Whether you are a millennial or newly retired, you are, likely, asking the question: How can find meaning and purpose in my life apart from my job and my family. Part of our mission at the bridge is to help people connect with their God-given, God-created purpose for their life.

Connecting with God’s passion for your life – Ever wonder if God really, truly loves you? In Luke 15, Jesus tells a parable about a father’s passionate love for his two crazy, dysfunctional sons. Jesus’ point is that God’s passionate love for us in unconditional. Part of our mission at the bridge is to help people connect with God’s passionate love for them.

Core Habits

What does a disciple of Jesus Christ look like at the bridge? The way we answer that question is by inviting everyone to embody eight core habits – embodied practices that shape our life, together, and help us to be a blessing – the tangible touch of God to others. Our core habits are:
